URGENT DEMAND FOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QATAR)
Requirements:
-Degree Educated in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Post contracts experience relative to Claims, variations, EOT.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience, 5 years in quantity surveying experience within a Road and Infrastructure in Doha.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and monitor all site activities and costs being expended on the project.
- Ensure effective interaction between the commercial team and the operational site teams.
- Prepare, control and submit variations.
- Able to draft correspondence in conjunction with the Contracts & Commercial Manager
- Prepare and submit project interim Payment Application
- Prepare and control sub-contractors' payments.
- Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.
- Able to work well within a team-based environment.
- Supply all relevant information to the Contracts Manager/Commercial Manager for review at the specified intervals set.
- Identify the variations, additional cost items and raising the notice of Variation to the Consultant in conjunction with the Contracts and Commercial Manager.
- Assist the Contracts and Commercial Manager with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.
